PayVoice Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 22, 2026

Core Privacy Principle: PayVoice is designed as an "Offline-First" utility. We do not transmit your financial transactions, SMS messages, or notification data to any external servers. All parsing and audio generation happens locally on your physical device.

1. Permissions We Request and Why

To function as an instant payment alerter, PayVoice requires specific Android OS permissions:

  • Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): Required to instantly read incoming payment notifications from banking and fintech apps (e.g., JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay) so the app can trigger an audio alert.
  • SMS Reading (RECEIVE_SMS / READ_SMS): Required to intercept official bank SMS confirmations for merchants relying on text-based payment verifications.

2. Local Data Storage

When PayVoice intercepts a payment notification or SMS, it parses the data (Amount, Sender Name) to announce it aloud. This transaction history is saved securely in a local database (Room DB) on your device so you can view your daily revenue. This database is never synced to the cloud. If you uninstall the app, your transaction history is permanently deleted.

3. Third-Party Sharing

Because your data never leaves your device, it is impossible for us to sell, share, or distribute your financial information or personal data to third parties.
